Here are some tips for deviling eggs, or whatever you have on hand!
So your feed is filled with the sentence “______ is going to be a little different this year”, isn’t it? It’s true. From Zoom holidays to funky recipe adaptations, we’re here for all of it. The Team Gotham Easter tradition is our Green Goddess deviled eggs, but we realize eggs are quite the commodity right now. No eggs? No worries. “Deviling” really means to add lots of spices and seasonings (mustard, black pepper, paprika, and in our world, basil + green goddess).
Step 1: Grab some creamy ingredients
- Gotham Greens Green Goddess
- Gotham Greens Vegan Goddess
- Yogurt
- Mayo
- Mustard
- Avocado
- Egg Yolk
Step 2: Grab some spices and seasonings
- Mustard (of any sort)
- Paprika
- Black pep
- Gotham Greens Basil (fresh, dried, pesto-ed)
- Onion (green, white, red, powder flakes)
- Garlic (minced, powder, flakes)
Step 3: Mix with whatever contents you have, we like:
- Eggs
- Chickpeas
- Ham or any deli meat
- Beans
- Potatoes
- Crunchy raw veggies
Step 4: Put the deviled mixture on a plate (or just eat it straight from the bowl, no judgement!)
- Egg whites
- Gotham Greens Lettuce
- Toast
- Crackers
While we love deviled eggs, we went for a deviled chickpea mash on greens (which basically turned into a deviled lettuce wrap.)
